General Site Maintenance Operative (Part-Time)

Location: Rendlesham Suffolk
Reports To: Recovery Site Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to help maintain the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of our vehicle recovery site. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain site facilities, grounds, and security to the highest standards.
• Carry out basic repairs and manage waste disposal effectively
• Safely move both driveable and non-driveable vehicles within the yard.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with customer vehicle handovers and collections, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to log and securely store customer property.
• Professional discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Full UK driving licence and basic IT skills.
• A current forklift certificate (desirable)

Desirable

• Experience in basic vehicle maintenance.
