British Truck Racing Championships
Hammond’s Recovery invited to the British Truck Racing Championships.
Held at Snettisham race circuit on the 16th and 17th September we were invited attendees to the event.
Invited by Trackside Recovery, specialists Nationally for race side recovery covering all race meetings for cars, bikes, and trucks. We were selected along with Merrie from Trucking Hell and her colleagues at Lantern Recovery for our reputation and our location.
The trucks being raced are all specialist vehicles adapted for the sport of racing, they are governed to a maximum speed of 100mph, which is phenomenal for wagons of their size! The whole infrastructure is huge and as you can imagine the health and safety aspect is well catered for,
George and Jay represented us in our HGV Renault Kerax sitting trackside to deal with racing trucks be it breakdowns or track crash incidents. An enjoyable weekend was had by all, and we are grateful for the opportunity to attend.
