Built to conquer the road, the Mustang is a pure muscle car powered by a 5.0 V8 engine. It produces up to 460PS with a 0-62mph time of 4.4 seconds in the automatic and 4.8 seconds in the manual, with an active exhaust system and selectable drive modes, including a Track mode for incredible handling. The fastback is available in GT and Mack 1 versions, or you can get a soft-top California special. All versions have Lane-Keeping Aid with Lane-Keeping Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control to take the edge off your adventures.
GT models kick things off with a 12” LCD driver’s display, an 8” SYNC 3 touchscreen, LED headlights, powered front seats and a rear-view camera. The Mustang California has Miko Suede seats and door inserts, unique sports styling and the Performance Package Front Splitter. Mach 1 tops the range with the MagneRide Adaptive Suspension System, a Mach 1 front grille with low gloss magnetic pony badge, Mach 1 badges, a unique Mach 1 stripe pack, and a B&O Premium Audio system.

Design

The Mustang’s powerful stance, striking profile and quad-tip exhaust give it looks to die for. It rides on 19” alloys with aerodynamic styling and fat Michelin tyres. Inside, a plush cockpit with a 12” digital driver’s display awaits.

Drive

Nothing beats the character and ferocity of the Mustang’s 5.0 V8 engine. Up to 560PS and an active exhaust system ensure scintillating performance, and there are four drive profiles (Normal, Sport, Track and Drag) to tune how it responds.

Practicality

The Mustang comfortably transports two people, with two additional rear seats suitable for occasional use or a few bags. The boot is surprisingly big at 408-litres, which is more than you get with most of family hatchbacks and small SUVs.

Living with it
