The latest technological advancements have been utilised in the construction of the WRX STI, giving more responsive handling, a firmer suspension and, of course, greater speed and acceleration.
With its wide stance and short overhang, the WRX STI offers manoeuvrability and stability akin to a rally car. Its assertive shape, accentuated by the large bonnet-mounted air intake, also lends it an unstoppable road presence. It also works with, rather than against, the wind; the prominent wheel arches, redesigned under-cover and rear diffuser work together to control the flow of air past the vehicle, giving the impression of effortless motion.
The 2.5-litre Boxer engine gives you 300PS of engine power and 407Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. Together with the lightweight components and aerodynamic shape of the WRX STI, this lends the car superb acceleration of 0-62mph in just 5.2 seconds, in addition to a top speed of 158mph.
