Nissan has surpassed the poise and looks of the 370Z with its new 370Z Roadster version. By introducing a convertible model with a revised suspension and an assortment of new advanced technology, Nissan has managed to build on the excellent qualities of the original coupé.
The 3.7-litre V6 engine includes VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift control) technology, which keeps a more precise control on the fuel/air mix inside. The damper settings on the suspension have also been redesigned, giving a more comfortable ride, more responsive handling, and superior grip when taking corners at speed.
Safety is improved still further by such innovative features as Snow Mode (only available on the automatic model), which reduces torque at low speed to drastically reduce the threat of skidding in slippery conditions. Standard features include VDC stability control, front, side and curtain airbags, and seatbelt pre-tensioners.
