On behalf of The Norfolk Referees Society I wish to thank you most sincerely for the use of your Defender 90 Zebra at the Southwold Beach Rugby Event last Saturday.
It was certainly appreciated and needed to transport the Referee base to the beach and home again, without it we would have been in a muddle!
There were over 500 players and as many spectators on the beach so Hammonds name really got some exposure.
No doubt we will see you at Diss during the season and hopefully we can utilise your kind gesture again at next year's beach Event.

My first involvement with Hammonds was the purchase of a diesel Nissan Vannette and I was so impressed with this vehicle I eventually had a fleet of eight.
Along the way I purchased two diesel Nissan Bluebirds as salesman's cars and these also gave excellent service.
Recently I bought a Nissan Pathfinder which is the third 4 wheel drive Hammonds have supplied, and I have been very pleased with this vehicle.

The Range Rover Sport is absolutely awesome and a real pleasure to drive, slightly different to my last vehicle!! I have attached a copy of either side of the credit card I used on Saturday, and hope this now concludes the personal ID requirements?
On a separate note, I just wanted to thank you for the professional way in which you handled this sale, it has been a pleasure dealing with someone who is courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Quite a stark difference to the surly and uninterested sales people I encountered at my local dealership in Bishops Stortford as well as Marshalls in Cambridge - keep up the good work!
Thanks again for running through the numerous functions on the car, I am sure it will be a few weeks before I am fully conversant. Finally, I have scoured the car but don't seem to be able to locate the log book and operation manual, could you please throw some light on its whereabouts?

I am writing to thank you and your company for an excellent experience of purchasing a Land Rover Freelander 2.
I first arrived at your showroom the week before Christmas and was immediately greeted by TS. TS dealt with me throughout and has been a real pleasure to deal with. He was very accommodating with a long test drive using the demonstrator and also a test drive of the actual car I later purchased.
I felt I was being treated fairly and he was able to accommodate my requests within the deal.
My cherished transfer was completed at lightning quick speed and I collected the car on December 23rd. The car was immaculately presented and the handover was very comprehensive, a real "feel good" experience.
I have since returned to collect another item I purchased from your very efficient parts department and whilst I was there TS was very quick to come and greet me. I discussed a small rattle in the passenger door and without hesitation he had it taken into the workshop there and then and the problem was resolved in 5 minutes.
I have now driven almost 2000 miles in my new Freelander and have loved every mile! I am confident that I made the right choice, both with the vehicle and of course with Hammonds. It is tempting to believe that old fashioned customer service is now almost entirely absent, especially in the modern motor trade. I really do feel that your company is committed to customer satisfaction and I sincerely thank you for this.
As a result of my experience, I have every confidence in Hammond Land Rover and would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone. I look forward to many years of dealing with you.

My rear passenger window developed a fault overnight and I rang at 08.01, to have a very efficient lady answer the phone. My car was in the garage, worked on, put right and back on the road by 09.25. You may recall I rang you at very short notice re an ongoing fault with my Freelander poor engine performance.
I was off to France on the Saturday with the car, I am now back from France and the car has been excellent, no problems at all. You listened to my description over the phone of the fault and tried to solve it, booked me in at very short notice, took the car for a test drive and solved the problem while I waited. Kept me informed and topped up with coffee. What can I say, I thought old fashioned service and customer car had died way back, I am glad to say that it is well and truly alive at Hammond Land Rover in Halesworth, there is still hope.
I am a Halesworth person living in Woodbridge, in future those few miles will be worth the travel. Keep up the good work. I will certainly tell friends about Hammonds.

Until I retired in 2006 I was the Managing Partner of E which is now a very large international law firm. It grew quickly because we believed in certain values all of which related to client service and quality. I tell you this only because I promised myself, some years ago, that I would always write to companies who treated me with the kind of respect and dignity I wanted the clients of my firm to enjoy.
I recently sent an e-mail to "Hammonds" seeking some advice and guidance about a new Defender. I received a telephone call from TS the following day, who took a lot of time and trouble to understand precisely what I was looking for. At this time I was talking to three of four main dealers - some more proactive that others! However, it was TS who always came back with the relevant information and helpful guidance. To cut a long story short I moved away from buying a Defender and started looking at new Range Rover's. With TS's attention to detail and his dignified approach I agreed to buy a new Vogue. Had it not been for TS's care and attention I would almost certainly have gone for the lowest price in a "Dutch auction". TS is no push over when it comes to doing the deal but his integrity wins you over.
While I was making my mind up TS took the trouble to drive out to my home and show a Range Rover to my wife so that we could be sure of the commitment we were about to make. She found him charming. She is a very discerning judge of character!
I wanted to tell you this because young men like TS should receive the recognition they deserve in this over commercialised world we live in. He is a very good ambassador for your business. And, if you will forgive me for saying so, you should keep hold of him.

I was very impressed in how speedily they responded when fitting my complimentary set of tyres within half an hour of me finding a split in one of the tyres on the morning I was due to go to the South of France.
